Webinar: Kärcher Shares Project Experience on Archive Migration as Part of the SAP S/4HANA Transformation

May 15, 2025

Neu-Isenburg, May 15, 2025 – On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Stefan Hummel from Kärcher together with Alexander Mex from KGS Software GmbH, will present in a free webinar how the internationally leading provider of cleaning systems successfully replaced its ECM system with a lean archive in the AWS Private Cloud.

Concrete real-world reference examples are the best blueprints for successful follow-up or new projects. All the more reason to be pleased that Kärcher’s IT managers have agreed to share their experiences of transforming their archive into the cloud with others. With this, Kärcher aims to demonstrate that even seemingly complex transformation projects can be successfully implemented with the right approach.

In the webinar titled “Kärcher Case Study: Migrating an Archive in the Context of the S/4HANA Transformation,” participants will gain first-hand insights into the company's initial situation, the challenges that had to be overcome, and the reasons for undertaking the migration. Stefan Hummel will also reveal which strategic goals were involved and how Kärcher's IT architecture has evolved since the transformation. As Hummel summarizes: “The solution from kgs is lean, fast, and integrates very well with a hyperscaler. The overhead of the previous solution – with its own database and complex administration – is completely eliminated with kgs.”
