Insight Session: News on SAP's Harmonized Document Management Principle

June 12, 2025

Neu-Isenburg, June 12, 2025 – On Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10 a.m., kgs invites you to an Insight Session where kgs CTO and experienced SAP document management insider Benny Schröder will share his research findings on the future of document access in SAP.

During the DSAG Technology Days, changes to document management in SAP were discussed, but not fully detailed. Many questions remain unanswered regarding the concept of “Harmonized Document Management” (HDM) by SAP. HDM is a new framework that aims to ensure consistent, cross-system document integration in SAP S/4HANA in the long term, according to the teaser. The Walldorf-based software company intends to establish HDM as a unified solution for the entire Business Suite, replacing the inconsistent Fiori apps.

In the Insight Session, Benny Schröder will reveal how this process-oriented document access will work in the future and how companies can implement it. Schröder, a recognized expert in SAP document management, has been in close contact with SAP stakeholders and industry experts for years. In the webinar titled “Harmonized Document Management 2.0: The Long-Awaited Breakthrough for SAP Customers?”, he will share exciting insights with the participants. Topics include how to handle document attachments and how to bring order to the current document chaos, enabling a consistent approach. Register here.
