Initial Situation
From half a billion documents — which come from dozens of different systems — the right one click on the screen of one of the 8,000 users within a second.
Solution
EnBW created a completely new, sustainable and global archive architecture with the content server as the core. This is based on SAP as closely as possible and is able to archive incoming and outgoing digital objects of any format from SAP and any other external systems and make them available quickly.
Result
The kgs system is easy to adapt to the existing technical infrastructure. No additional DMS user administration is required and the system is lean, fast, scalable and open to expansion. It is possible to import up to 800,000 documents per day, the maintenance costs are lower and the system behavior is more stable.
