Initial Situation
Klöckner & Co originally used OpenText archiving. When they opted for a “cloud-first strategy,” that was the end of this technology. They set out to find a solution that would not only bring together the archives of the 140 locations, but would also prepare them for the future.
Solution
At the DSAG annual meeting, people got to know tia®, the archiving solution from kgs. As part of a smaller project in Switzerland, they put tia® through its paces and finally introduced the solution.
Result
The positive effects observed as part of the Swiss project meant that Klöckner & Co also introduced the kgs solution throughout the Group. Within two months, 90 million documents were migrated from the old systems to tia®. The transition was smooth, so that even the important online shop had no loss of performance.
