Easily convert archived annotations into PDF documents

Initial Situation

The energy company, which is planning to switch to SAP S/4HANA, wants to ensure solid data archiving in advance of the migration, reduce maintenance costs for the DMS system and at the same time enable annotations to be added graphically to PDF documents.

Solution

With the introduction of the tia® H5 viewer from kgs, PDF documents can be provided with any definable elements and annotations before they are archived. This benefits 1,700 employees who regularly work with SAP at STEAG Germany.

Result

While it was still difficult to add annotations and graphical elements to PDF documents in the past, this can be easily implemented with the H5 Viewer. Appropriately enriched documents can be archived smoothly and they are also already available in the correct format for subsequent migrations to SAP S/4HANA.
