Initial Situation

WWK Lebensversicherung a.G. wanted to set up a fail-safe archive including a disaster recovery scenario with three spatially separated data centers, which was not possible with the existing IT infrastructure — and would involve too high costs for a medium-sized company.

Solution

The company is switching to the tia® content server from kgs and thus has a uniform archiving platform for all data and documents.

Result

The archive manages 300 million documents with a volume of around 60 terabytes, which can be easily accessed when needed.
