KGS Software GmbH Appoints Dirk Kruse as Co-CEO

Since June 2026, Volpi Capital has held a majority stake in kgs and, together with management, has been driving the international scaling of the tia® platform. With Dirk Kruse, kgs gains a recognized SAP expert who combines 25 years of experience across the SAP ecosystem, particularly SAP S/4HANA and SAP RISE, with extensive international sales and go-to-market experience. He will drive the strategic development of tia® as an intelligent data and document architecture for enterprise generative AI. The coming months will focus on accelerating growth in the D/A/CH region, expanding into international markets and positioning tia® as trusted infrastructure for enterprise AI.

Dirk Kruse brings 25 years of experience in the software and technology industry, with recognized expertise in SAP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP RISE, enterprise software, architecture, data management, and artificial intelligence. He previously served as a member of the executive board of SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG and as CEO of SAP Fioneer from 2021 to 2025. In these roles, he built extensive experience in international sales, entering new markets, and scaling go-to-market organizations. Kruse is based in Germany.
