DSAG Technology Days 2026 from 17.-18.03.26 in Hamburg
As part of DSAG Technology Days 2026 in Hamburg provides KGS together with its customer Drägerwerk presents a practical project for modern SAP archiving. The focus is on the question of how SAP archive landscapes with container-based architecture and cloud infrastructure can be operated in a future-proof manner.
The presentation provides insights from a real project environment and shows which architectural decisions, operating models and experiences have proven effective in practice.
Under the title “Drägerwerk experience report: Container-based SAP archiving in AWS” Drägerwerk reports from everyday project life on the introduction and operation of a container-based SAP archiving solution based on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The presentation highlights key aspects of implementation — from architectural decisions to operating models to practical experience in productive use. It shows how container-based technologies open up new opportunities for scalability, operation and modernization of SAP archive landscapes.
