On Friday, July 30, 2021, the next webinar in the #FunFastFocus series from kgs will take place at 10 a.m. This time it's about the CMIS interface and its relevance for document management in SAP.
In recent months, the CMIS interface has evolved from a niche solution to a standard approach. SAP is also already using this cloud-optimized interface standard. However, little has been leaked out so far as to what specific plans Walldorf is pursuing with regard to document management, CMIS, ArchiveLink, etc.
In the webinar “DMS goes CMIS: Expert Talk with SAP”, Markus Pipp, SAP Product Management — SAP S/4HANA, ECM, and Benny Schröder, kgs Head of R&D, will provide information on the current status of CMIS and SAP and show what changes can be expected in the future. The webinar provides an insight into the status quo surrounding document management and archiving in and the future of CMIS. In addition, the technical infrastructure of kgs tia® is presented and explains why switching to CMIS technology at an early stage is worthwhile.
