Webinar: Archiving as a start for SAP S/4HANA migration

On Friday, September 18, 2020, Christian Bleeker, IT sourcing expert and managing director of MITA Consulting, will explain how the right archiving strategy paves the way for technical business cases as part of SAP S/4HANA projects. As part of a free webinar at 10 o'clock, he will answer questions together with KGS archive expert Jochem Brost.

For many companies, switching to SAP S/4HANA is not only a complex project, but also a costly one. This is not least due to the fact that HANA technology is relatively expensive compared to relational databases. Since the data volume is an exponential cost driver here, it should be analyzed before the migration which data or documents actually need to be transferred to SAP S4/HANA or which can be excluded from the volume calculation through successful archiving.

Similar to a classic move, in which it is sorted out in advance what is important or what is no longer needed in the future, the preparatory work is also crucial when migrating documents and data to SAP S/4HANA. In this webinar, IT sourcing specialist, Christian Bleeker, describes which steps are a prerequisite for an SAP transformation and what added value intelligent archiving offers, particularly in terms of costs and services. The presentation, together with Jochem Brost, an experienced KGS archive specialist, is divided into three parts and also includes a checklist for the change.

The participants of the free 30-minute webinar will also learn in detail how the KGS archive solution tia® sets up archiving for S/4HANA. Afterwards, it is possible to ask the experts individual questions. The webinar will also be recorded and then sent to all registrants.
