At its central management in downtown Munich, the long-established company outlined its path away from the cluttered old archive to the lean approach of KGS. A special feature here: Only a small part of WWK applications consist of SAP. A good example of how companies can also connect non-SAP systems to the kgs Content Server using the kgs Web Service via the standard ArchiveLink interface.
kgs makes archives intelligent. Under this guiding principle, Benjamin Schröder, Head of Development & Support at kgs, explained in his presentation in which direction kgs is currently continuing its archiving solutions. He explained how companies can intelligently distribute content to any storage system and monitor and control it cost-effectively with the new kgs HawkEye product. As another customer, Stadtwerke München presented to those present how they work with the kgs SAP archive on a daily basis. Both companies are extremely satisfied with the decision for KGS and the associated operational and financial benefits and are happy to provide reference information.
