Challenge
Döhler was looking for a streamlined, standardized solution to replace the various parallel archive systems running at the company and to run subordinate to the SAP system. Above all, the company did not want the new archive to affect the implementation of S/4HANA throughout the company or require special adaptation.
Solution
Thanks to the kgs Content Server, the complexity of the archive is transferred to the NetApp memory, which ensures that no data is modified. kgs is not a database, but a simple, naked object file system, which is what sets it apart from conventional archive solutions.
